Environment and Facilities

All lessons take place in well-furnished classrooms equipped with a wide range of traditional and modern learning resources, including computers, data projectors, interactive whiteboards, extensive book stocks, artistic materials and scientific and technical apparatus.  We also have a number of specialist teaching facilities, including science and information technology laboratories, music studio, music practice rooms, lecture rooms, a sports centre and gym, a theatre, theatre, and art and design centre.

In addition there is the main Shared Services and Reception Building, three Boarding Houses, Administrative Building, Staff Accommodation and School Shop.

The School has its own water supply, which is certified pure spa water.

The School has a private beach area on the adjacent River Vorskla.

Health Centre
The British International Boarding School Health Centre is within the parkland of the school campus immediately adjacent to the residential houses. The Health Centre has a team of nurses who are on call 24 hours a day.  They are supported by a team of visiting specialists, including doctors and counsellors.  Close liaison between House staff, medical staff and parents ensures the best possible healthcare for all students.

Information Technology

BIBS has made significant investments in IT hardware, software and networking facilities to strengthening our IT support for academic learning and school administration. There are data-projectors and associated audio-visual equipment and interactive whiteboards.  The highest levels of security and controlled Internet access are implemented throughout the system.
