British International Boarding School, Ukraine

The British International boarding school in Ukraine was founded by Celyn Group (Switzerland). The boarding school is created on the basis of the British educational system for children aged from 7 to 16 years old. The programme of education doesn't differ at all and is the same for British schools. On completion students receive an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

After completion of the British boarding school students are free to continue their study in British schools (A-level or International Baccalaureate (IB)). The boarding school in Ukraine guarantees the possibility of further study in schools of Great Britain and guides its students in future. At the moment Celyn Group is planning to obtain IB accreditation for the British International boarding school in Ukraine.


There is a number of advantages of obtaining the British education in Ukraine:

1. A quick adaptation to the British system of education to which our students haven't yet got accustomed. As a rule this factor is especially important for pupils of junior school who when going abroad have a double stress: their parents are not with them and people around speak only English. When studying in Ukraine adaptation to a new environment occurs much quicker and preparation for English speaking surroundings happens in a more effective way.

2. The boarding school is located in a resort area of Ukraine (Poltava region, Novo-Sanzharskiy district) near the Vorskla. Being far away from large cities, calm and ecologically pure environment furthers positively both health state and a more effective process of learning.

3. We have a certified highly qualified teaching team headed by Founding Headmaster Trevor Wilson, an alumni of the Oxford and London universities with 35 year working experience in the sphere of education including working experience as a Headmaster at four schools: the first one is in Great Britain and the other three are International British boarding schools abroad.


4. The school charge at the boarding school in Ukraine is much lower than in similar private boarding schools in Great Britain and the quality of education fully corresponds with the British quality.

There are no long flights and trips abroad so parents can visit their children at any time and not worry about their safety.

The British International boarding school hasn’t been chosen for the organization in Ukraine by chance. The project has been created within the framework of integration of Ukraine into Europe. There are very many talented young people in Ukraine who are worth getting the best education. The aim of the British International boarding school in Ukraine is to breed its students as a group of young intellectuals - the new elite of Ukraine who will be able to influence positive changes in our country and apply their knowledge in any country of the world.
